BEST THIMBLE I’VE EVER USED
I quilt and like to sew on the binding, sashings, etc. by hand even though I quilt by machine. I hate the bulkiness of a metal thimble and have never been able to use one, so I would always have a bloody finger after sewing for awhile. The leather thimbles are pretty good, but get hot. I just love the little leather dot. I can put it exactly where I push the needle and it can be reused for a long time. I stick it on the edge of my pin holder so I can find it. It gets a little dirty and grubby looking, but works fine and stays in place. This product is a great idea – Mary

These thimbles are the best invention since sliced bread. I use them for every type of hand sewing – perfect for hand quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, etc. In fact, they are the only kind I use nowadays, my suggestion -do what I’ve done – use these exclusively and put that old metal or leather finger type thimble on a shelf in honour of our mother’s and grandmother’s! – Cathy
