We are temporarily unable to offer a reliable overnight shipping service until further notice. We will continue to process orders and ship out your parcels as quickly as possible but given the current Covid-19 situation we ask for patience as delivery may take longer than usual.

Shipping and processing of all orders will resume on April 28th, 2020 when New Zealand moves out of lockdown level 4 and into lockdown level 3

Please note that Courier Drivers are unlikely to physically obtain your signature on signature required parcels during level 3, but instead opt for a contactless digital signature by the driver on your behalf. Your parcel is still tracked and can be tracked via GPS through the courier company tracking services to your delivery address but you will need to regularly check your front doorstep or mailbox for your parcel because once a parcel has been delivered to your property the parcel content insurance expires.

Overnight Delivery Service We continue to offer an overnight delivery service for orders that have paid for overnight shipping before midday. This service is offered in good faith and dependant on the Courier Companies actually being able to deliver the service they have been paid to provide. Most Courier Companys allow for exceptions to their services due to extenuating circumstances and during the current Covid-19 crisis it is possible that there may be some disruption to their normal services. Courier-Post has a Breaking News banner at the top of their website that informs customers of any delays to their normal services, which you can check to see if there are any known disruptions to the service in your area. You can also track the delivery progress of your parcel via the tracking number that we send to you in our dispatch notification. As always we recommend contacting the Courier Service or alerting us to any problem with your delivery as soon as possible because the quicker an investigation into the whereabouts of a parcel is started the quicker any problem can be resolved.

During the current Covid-19 Civil Emergency, Courier Services are only allowed to deliver essential items. Sadly, craft tools and products are not classed as essential products, therefore we will be unable to process any orders for delivery until after the current crisis has finished and normal courier services and business has resumed. We please ask for your patience during this difficult time and we will keep you updated as to when normal service will return.

In this unprecedented time of the world-wide Covid-19 virus crisis, Horoeka House Online Craft Store will continue to process orders for as long as possible but we ask customers to expect the possibility of delays in the processing and delivery of orders.

We can no longer guarantee signature required parcels as Courier Companies move to contactless deliveries. Parcels will still be delivered and you can still trace the journey of your parcel via the tracking information.

Given the rapidly evolving situation, if circumstances change and we are no longer able to process or deliver your parcel we will inform you as soon as possible and offer full refunds of any product or shipping payments made.

Classic Iced Cookie Recipe

St.Ptrick's Day Lucky Clover Iced Cookies

Cookie Ingredients

• 150 gm Butter (softened)
• 1 cup White Castor Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
• 2 1/2 cups Plain White Flour
• 3/4 tsp Baking Powder

Icing Ingredients

• 1 Egg White
• 1 2/3 cups White Powdered Icing Sugar
• 1 tsp Lemon Juice
• 3/4 tsp Baking Powder

Cookie Method

1. Line two baking trays with your Horoeka House Silicone Baking Tray Liners

2. Preheat oven to 160°C

3. Beat together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy

4. Now beat in eggs one at a time

5. Add the vanilla and beat in

6. Sift the flour and baking powder together

7. Stir the flour and baking powder into the butter and sugar mix until a soft dough forms

8. Cover dough and chill in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes

9. Cut into the desired shape using your Horoeka House Cookie Cutters

10. Transfer the biscuits to baking trays lined with a Reusable Horoeka House Silicone Baking Tray Liner and bake for 10-12 minutes until they are a light golden brown colour

11. Allow the biscuits to cool completely before icing

Icing Method

1. Separate the egg white from the yoke using your Horoeka House Egg White Sepqartor

2. Whisk the egg white with an electric beater until it has formed a soft peak

3. Gradually add the icing sugar to the whisked egg white

4. Add the lemon juice

5. Beat the mixture at a high speed until the icing is light, fluffy, and glossy thick

6. Separate icing into individual batches depending on the number of different colours you require

8. Now enjoy having fun using your creative whims to ice your cookies

9. A handy icing tip is to ice an outer ring around your design and allow it to set before filling the centre of your design

Make The Occasion Even More Special With An Irish Coffee

Irish Coffee Recipe

• 1 cup of your favourite freshly brewed coffee
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• Lightly whipped cream
• 3 tbsp of your favourite whiskey

1. Fill a large coffee mug (a glass or footed one if you have it) with your freshly brewed hot coffee to approxnately the 3/4 level

2. Stir in the brown sugar to taste

3. Stir in the whiskey. If you are making a non-alcholhic version use whiskey or rum esscence instead of the actaul whiskey

4. Top with whipped cream
