Gear Steampunk Silicone Mold

Horoeka House has added a new silicone mold to our Steampunk collection of craft molds. This mold is made from food-safe silicone and is suitable for many different types of casting mediums, such as fondant, modeling chocolate, polymer and metal clays, and resin.

The gears in this mold are larger than our other silicone molds so if you are planning are more large-scale project then this would be a great mold to add to your collection.

The processing and shipment of all orders that have been delayed due to the government Covid-19 Level 4 lockdown restrictions will commence in accordance with Covid-19 Level 3, contactless and safe business practice requirements on Wednesday 1st of September 2021. Please be aware that normal shipping timeframes may be extended due to courier compainies catching up with the backlog of parcel deliveries, espically in the Auckland and Northland regions that still remain under Level 4 restrictions.

All processing of orders is currently on hold until the Government Covid-19 alert level restrictions for the Bay of Plenty are reduced down from Level 4 into an alert level that will allow businesses to resume the processing of non-essential items (Potentially Alert Level 3).

For all those embroidery and beading crafters we have added a metal handled Tambour Crochet Tool with 3 x different sized needle hooks to complement our popular slightly longer wooden handled Tambour Needle Hook.

Last but not least we have a new Unicorn Silicone Craft Mold. Unicorns are one of the most popular children’s party themes and this new mold is the perfect size for cupcake or cookie decorations.

New instore this week is a beautiful decorative four-leaf clover silicone craft mold. This mold makes perfect good luck cupcake fondant decorations, a lucky charm for a resin or polymer clay pendant, or as a lucky charm on a birthday card.

Vintage keys are always popular for 21st Birthday cakes, jewelry making, mixed media projects, steampunk projects, and intimate love tokens.

Keeping with the popular Steampunk theme, this aged compass is a great new addition to the Horoeka House collection of Steampunk silicone craft molds. It works well with polymer clay, resin and fondant projects.

New to the Horoeka House Decorative Embellishments collection of silicone craft molds is this handsome lion head. This is another versatile mold that works well with multiple art mediums. It can make a elegant embellishment on a decorative plant pot or glass vase or a fondant cupcake decoration for those born under the star sign of Leo.

Lizard silicone molds are very popular at the moment and this new design is already proving a winner! Imagine what a statement a pair of brightly colored lizard resin earrings would make. The most important thing to remember when choosing a medium to use in the molds is to keep all food preparation and non-food molds separate, and never use a mold for an edible project that has been pervious used for a non-edible craft project. Most silicone molds are suitable for resin, polymer clay, modeling medium, plaster, or depending on their size even concrete. When using low relief or thin molds, consider using more liquid or flexible mediums to help prevent fine details from breaking when de-molding and during placement.
